Time to write persuasively--it's the Austen imitation challenge!
This week we'll try our hand at imitating Austen's free indirect discourse with a twist: you'll re-write a scene in the novel where Austen uses free indirect discourse (likely focalized on Anne, but possibly on other characters) from the perspective of a different character who is present in that scene. What would that character think and feel in that situation? And how might Austen relay those thoughts and feelings?
